I had a good try today, but I couldnt save it or publish it anywhere, when I tried to publish it, it went blank again.

The interface is all over the place. cant click on things and settings for compose tool are in a strange place! Not saving unless you publish? Doesn't make any sense. The "feedback" button is inhibiting me from clicking settings.. Can't input notes by keyboard... Deletes project if accidentally click on something also. Completely dysfunctional. So much potential. Lets go!
I fixed the feedback button - just ran into that too sorry I missed it. Was a hectic week getting my girls back to school. Can't input notes by keyboard -- computer keyboard or MIDI keyboard?
Mr Rob it appears the settings tab is gone in the compose section.

Hey Seun - can you describe what you mean a bit? There is a setting for Bell note heads instead of note heads but it's really just for easier songs right now? Are you thinking we should do bell note heads for harder songs as well?
Seun - I made it possible to turn the bell faces on in both composition modes. If you want to update a current song of yours, click edit and then from the menu pick the noteheads > bells options!!
Safari on iPad fails to play sound, and also fails to show the score when I press Print to export a pdf. But it really is coming on Rob. Thanks so much!

also i don't think it's functional on safari, or maybe just not via ios. couldn't get it to place notes on my phone. couldn't get sound on my ipad.
phones are gonna be tricky for something like this but the ipad just got a big update. and hopefully that safari bug is worked out for the sound. gonna keep testing on my ipad this afternoon
no whole or half notes?
you should be able to drag notes out to half and whole notes -- need to hover around the edge and then a little yellow pair of arrows shows up and you can drag them. Let me know what device etc so i can help iron this out - Rob
just saved a song i wasn't ready to publish but i don't think it actually saved anywhere
Right now only Lifetime & PK-5 members can save and publish tunes - other folks can just make and test and browse right now. If you're signed in as LT or PK5 member and that's the case please let me know.

Mr. Rob, can you please add more chords to the Chord area in the Settings and can you put different time signatures for different songs? When I make particular songs, I realize there's not enough chords. And when I try to put the right tempo for a song, the song sounds funny. It happened a few weeks after I went to Compose. I was making Fur Elise on Compose. I was using the book "My First Chromatic Songbook", I got to Fur Elise and I saw the time signature 6/8. I looked on Google and searched "How many BPM is Fur Elise". Gave me an answer, but not the one I was looking for. For chords, it also happened with Fur Elise. At the beginning of the sons, there's an E Major and you only have E Minor. Please add these list of chords today: A major, E Major, C minor, D major, D major 7, C major 7, C# major, G# major, and Bb minor. Thank you so, so, so much for what you do and until next time... Yes! Chord support for each key signature is coming soon. As is some kind of key changer so itll show the chords based on whatever key you're in. Great feedback Seun!! Keep it coming. Gonna push a lot of updates this weekend so stay tuned.

It should be better today but definitely let me know if it's happening again
being able to view the whole page, rather than zoomed in to just one line. Also, saving settings to not have to reset selections every time.
Will there be a more advanced tool allowing changes in key signatures and time signatures?
I added 3/4 and 6/8 and more chords for other key signatures. But i haven't tried adding true key signature support yet - I'll work on that next
Not sure if I'm doing this wrong, but when I added a dotted crochet, I couldn't figure out how to make the following note a quaver. It appeared a crochet and didn't quite fit correctly.

I've found the "clear all notes" but it doesn't also clear the chords. It would be nice to just have a completely clean sheet.

So excited... yet not sure I am doing it right. I can't get it to work on my iPad, and even on my laptop (which is new and up to date) it seems to have a lag in the playback mode? Not sure what I am doing wrong, or if maybe there are just a lot of people trying to use it all at the same time. Once we get it figured out it will me amazing! My girls have tried to write on paper their own songs... so this will be such a nice up grade and encourage them along.

Can’t syncopate an eighth tied to a quarter over the bar line. Dragging doesn’t allow enough control, as it places notes in random places rather than desired place.

The G when chromatics is enabled won't work by being dragged.

I am not figuring out how to do the compose. Are there some directions someplace?
Make sure you're logged in with the same email you use for Lifetime or PK-5 and then drag the bells from the bottom up to the staff. A directions video / page is a good call! I'm on it
How do you get a note on the staff?
Drag a bell up there. There's a new instructions page in the menu - click the ? for more details

Found a bug that was preventing publishing this morning (of course I find it AFTER sending the launch email) but it's been worked out and publishing should be back on track!!
How do I get a dotted quarter note? I see that I can drag the length of the note to create a half or dotted half note, but it won't let me drag to create a dotted quarter. Thanks!
